i kno, i kno, i haven't been keeping up with blogs. i've even been demoted :( told you i couldn't handle the pressure...

anyway, been super busy at work lately (by my standards), and that is the reason for the lack of blogs. there's less idle time for things to blog about to pop into my head, and less to time to actually blog them if they do.

so my baby is coming at the end of october. we're going to 2 weddings on the same day. i'm excited to see him, of course :) we've got a lot more visits planned for this year than we did for last, so hopefully things'll be slightly easier. there's this visit in october, then a couple months later is x'mas, about a month and a half after that is chinese new year, then he wants to come back around easter, then i'm gonna go out there and stay for a while in the summer, then we're both gonna come back, then we're gonna get married, then we're gonna have munchkins, then our munchkins are gonna have munchkins, so on and so forth...sounds like a perfect plan, huh? well...that's the plan for now. it's always changing, but i think this one is pretty reasonable and realistic, so we might stick with this one.

ugh. back to work...

wow, lotsa comments! makes me feel special =) thanks guys!

anyway, i guess in response to victor, i like the confidence/cockiness because i like the "big strong man taking care of the sweet little girl" scenario, but only when i need it. usually, i like to be independent and not rely on the guy. but i also want to know that he CAN take care of me if i ever want or need it.

i definitely do NOT want to be the one wearing the pants in the relationship. being a guy is not easy. i don't want the responsibility, the decision-making, etc that generally comes with the pant-wearer. i like to live life la-di-da, ho-hum-ish, basically care-free. mostly because i can. i've had a very fortunate life so far and hope to continue having this type of life and probably can't if i'm always stressing over the big decisions that my guy just can't seem to handle.

and i don't want a sissy boy who comes home crying every night needing comfort or something like that. once in a while, that's fine, i know everyone needs support and comfort, but basically, i don't want a baby. i don't want to be a mommy to my guy. i want to be a partner. like he's the president and i'm the CEO type of thing (i'm not too business-saavy, so i'm not positive these are the right positions, but you get the idea) where basically he's in charge, but i've still got a strong influence and a good chunk of the say in what happens.

and haha, i read martin's blog on bad boys vs good girls, and i found it entertaining, yet true, though i have stuff to add to that. only the boys who are good boys inside want the good girl. if you're a bad boy on the inside and out, i think you'd get a little bored or frustrated with the good girl in the long run. as far as the good girls wanting bad boys, i think that's only during the dating phase. when they really settle down with someone, i think they want a good boy, even with the good boy image. at least that's the way i see it...

and one more response to ameer, who says i don't like the girls who show it all now?

confidence is super attractive. i like guys with a twinge of cockiness to them and a ton of confidence. it's sexy. but they've got to be a sweet, loving, caring, gentle guy underneath. too much cockiness/confidence is bad though. so is fake or forced cockiness and confidence, to compensate for the inner lackings. which is more superficial, to base initial attraction on physical appearance, or attitude? i'm all about the attitude (at least for first impressions, that is). is that worse?

by the way. no, i'm not interested in some other guy. i still love my baby more than ever and am purely devoted to him and only him. this is just the way i've always seen things and was wondering if it's worse than what you typically think of as being superficial.

i'm starting to get bored at work again. i need a different kind of job. honestly, i need either a really exciting, constantly changing one or a mindless one. i'd prefer the mindless one i think because i don't like dealing with stress, even though that sounds even more boring...it's easier to do because this job, though i'm bored, so i don't wanna think about it to do it. with a mindless job, i don't have to think about it, so even if i'm bored, it'll still get done. does that make any sense? either that, or a more interactive/social job.

my current dream job is wedding/party planner. that's interactive and not mindless. it's not technical-minded, which is what i'm used to, but creative-minded, which i enjoy too, probably even more. technically, from all those silly tests, i'm apparently right-brained, the creative one. but for the life of me, i honestly don't think i'm all that creative. and i'm a software engineer for goodness sakes, how much more left-brained can you get? granted i'm not so great at it, so maybe that explains it, but i'm not good at the other either. it's one of those "jack of all trades, master of none" situations, but replace "all" with "few".

my teef hurt :( and i talk and look funnier than ever now. not only are half of each of my front teeth missing, there's a big freakin' gap in between 'em too! can you say sexy mama?

so i got my stitches off yesterday. i swear they cut me up even more to get 'em off, but whatever. anyway. they said to brush my teeth hard. make my gums bleed. on purpose. if i don't, the gums might get inflamed, it'll grow back, etc, etc. and i'll have to do the whole thing over again and wait another 4-6 weeks before i can look semi-normal again. so brush hard i will. my gums make bleed i will. not yoda i am. nothing i'm saying these days is funny. i apologize. i'll stop trying...

are you a sweet person or a salty person? lick your skin. you're probably salty right? unless you just ate something sweet and messy and licked your fingers. okay, that wasn't as funny as i hoped it'd be but oh well, too lazy to press backspace. but what i'm really asking is which do you enjoy eating more, sweet or salty. i'm the worst, i'm both. but i'd say that i'm salty more than sweet. i'd rather have another helping of carne asada fries over the ice cream. of course, having both would be the best :) kinda depends on my mood too though. why do i care? i have no idea. just popped into my head. i was eating pudding and realized that i wasn't really enjoying it. that's all...
